Setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA) on your Engagement platform

To secure your account, you will need to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) after your first login to the Engage mobile application.

When do I need to set up MFA?

You will be prompted to set up MFA immediately after your first login to the engagement platform. This is a mandatory security step to protect your account.


Setup Instructions

Step 1: First Login

  • Open the Edenred Engagement mobile application
  • Log in with your credentials

  • You will be automatically directed to the MFA setup screen

Step 2: Select Your Method

  • Choose either SMS or Authenticator App as your preferred authentication method

Step 3: Configure Your Chosen Method

If you selected SMS:

  1. Enter your mobile phone number carefully

  2. Important: Double-check your phone number before confirming to avoid access issues
  3. You will receive a verification code via SMS

  4. Enter the code to complete the setup

If you selected Authenticator App:

  1. This page displays the 3 compatible applications: "Google Authenticator", "Microsoft Authenticator" & "Authy Authenticator". 
    Click on "I have installed the app", then launch the application on your phone.

  2. Scan the QR code displayed on the screen with your authenticator app.

  3. Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app

  4. Complete the verification

Step 4: Confirmation

Once verified, your MFA setup is complete and you can access your account.


Important Information

  • Your authentication session refreshes with each login to the mobile application
  • You will need to verify your identity at each login
  • Keep your phone accessible to receive the codes
  • If you wish to change your authentication method later, you will need to reset your MFA configuration.
